# Connect Telegram

> Link your Telegram account to unlock social features and maximize your scan rewards

Connect your Telegram account to unlock social features, view your group chats in the terminal, and quick send tokens to chats, and enable the multi-layer scan tracking to maximize rewards.

## Why Connect Telegram?

Linking your Telegram account unlocks:

## How to Connect

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start the connection">
    Click **Connect Telegram** on the login popover, or find it in your Telegram Bot settings.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Log in to Telegram">
    You'll be redirected to Telegram's login page. Authenticate with your Telegram account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign with Phantom">
    Back in the terminal, sign the message in Phantom to bind your Telegram to your wallet.

## Verifying Connection

Once connected, you'll see:

* Telegram widgets become active
* Your Telegram username appears in settings
* Scan activity starts tracking

## Telegram Widgets

With Telegram connected, you can add these widgets to your workspace:

| Widget       | What It Shows                       |
| ------------ | ----------------------------------- |
| **Mentions** | Trending tokens across Telegram     |
| **My Chats** | Messages from your connected groups |
| **Scans**    | Your scan events and attribution    |

## Disconnecting Telegram

To unlink your Telegram account:

1. Open the Telegram Bot settings
2. Select "**Unlink Account**"
3. Confirm disconnection

  Disconnecting Telegram will stop scan reward tracking. Your historical earnings are preserved.

## Troubleshooting
