# Group Leaders
> Add the Quickscope bot to your Telegram group, engage your community, and earn from their trading activity
Running a trading group on Telegram? Quickscope turns your community's activity into rewards for you. Add the bot, register as the owner, and earn 5% of all trading fees generated from scans in your group.
## Adding the Bot to Your Group
Open your Telegram group settings, go to **Members** › **Add Members**, and search for `@QuickscopeStagingBot`. Add it to the group.
Make the bot an **admin** so it can read messages and post scan results. It only needs permission to read and send messages.
Send `/qrr` in your group to register as the group owner. This locks you in as the person who earns group rewards.
Only one owner per group. Make sure you're the group admin before registering. Ownership is permanent – contact support if you need to transfer it.
Once the bot is active, anyone in your group can scan tokens, trade, and use the full command set.
## Using the Bot in Groups
### Leaderboards and Stats
Track who's performing in your group:
| Command | What it shows |

| `/qrt` | Top earners in your group |
| `/scanners` | Top scanners in your group |
| `/qss` | Scan statistics for the group |
| `/leaderboard` | Full trading leaderboard |
| `/qsp` | Prove your balance (shows range) |
| `/qsg` | Prove group balance |
Leaderboards create competition. Balance proofs let members flex without revealing exact amounts.
### Scan and Display Settings
Control what gets scanned and how it looks:

| `/minscanfdv [amount]` | Minimum FDV for scans |
| `/scantweet on/off` | Allow scanning from tweets |
| `/minimode on/off` | Compact scan format |

| `/groupbalance on/off` | Show or hide group balance |
**Extra Mini Mode** is ideal for active groups. It keeps scans visible without flooding the chat.
### Alert Settings
Configure momentum-based alerts for your group. These fire automatically when tokens make significant market cap moves.

### Linking to Web
Connect your group to the web terminal with `/qgl`. This enables the group chat widget on desktop, scan attribution tracking, and cross-platform sync. Members who have both Telegram and wallet connected get full reward attribution.

## Group Owner Rewards
As a registered group owner, you earn **5% of all trading fees** from scans posted in your group. Quickscope charges a 1% fee on trades, so you receive 0.05% of every dollar of volume that originates from your group's scans.
This stacks with your personal rewards. If you scan a token yourself, you earn both the scan reward (up to 20%) and the group owner cut (5%) on top of it.
### How It Adds Up
Here's what group owner rewards look like at different volume levels:

| \$10,000 | \$100 | **\$5** |
| \$50,000 | \$500 | **\$25** |
| \$100,000 | \$1,000 | **\$50** |
| \$500,000 | \$5,000 | **\$250** |
| \$1,000,000 | \$10,000 | **\$500** |
The math is simple: take your group's monthly trading volume, multiply by 0.05%, and that's your reward. A group doing $500K in volume earns you $250 per month passively.
Check your group earnings anytime with `/qri` or on the web **Rewards** tab. The Rewards tab breaks down exactly how much came from group ownership vs. scans vs. referrals.
### Maximising Your Rewards
Your earnings scale with your group's trading activity. The best groups aren't the biggest, they're the most active.
Good calls spread further through the scan chain, generating more L2 and L3 volume that all counts toward your group earnings.
Share `/leaderboard` updates to drive competition. Active traders mean more volume.
Use `/minscanfdv` to reduce noise. Filtering low-quality scans keeps your group focused on real opportunities.
A group known for profitable calls attracts better traders. Better traders generate more volume.
