# Wallet Tracking

> Track other wallets to follow successful traders and monitor whale activity

Follow what successful traders are doing by tracking their wallets. See their buys, sells, and portfolio changes in real-time.

## Adding Wallets to Track

1. Find a wallet address (from Token Holders, Token Traders, or paste directly)
2. Click the **Track** or **Follow** button
3. Give the wallet a name and optional emoji
4. The wallet appears in your Tracked Wallets widget

You can also add wallets from the Token Holders list, Token Traders list, or Portfolio views.

## Viewing Tracked Wallet Activity

### Tracked Wallets Widget (Web)

Shows a feed of activity from all wallets you're tracking:

* Recent buys and sells
* Position changes
* Transaction sizes
* Token names and addresses

**Filtering options:**

* Filter by specific wallet
* Filter by transaction type
* Set minimum transaction size
* Show only tokens you hold

### Context Switching

When viewing portfolio widgets, you can switch context to any tracked wallet:

1. Look for the search/context selector in the widget header
2. Select a tracked wallet from the dropdown
3. View their positions, holdings, and history as if it were your own portfolio

  Use this to research what your tracked wallets are holding without leaving your dashboard.

## Finding Wallets to Track

**From Token Analysis:**

* Check Token Traders for profitable traders
* Look at Token Holders for large positions
* Review who's buying during dips

**From Social:**

* Track wallets shared in trading groups
* Follow known trader wallets from Twitter
* Add wallets from calls you trust

**Red Flags to Avoid:**

* Wallets that only buy (potential bots/wash trading)
* Extremely high win rates (may be insider)
* Wallets with no sell history

## Privacy Note

  Wallet tracking uses public blockchain data. You can track any Solana wallet–they won't receive notifications or know you're following their activity.

  Similarly, anyone can track your Quickscope wallet address using the same public data.

## Managing Your Watchlists

* Edit names and emojis from the Tracked Wallets widget
* Remove wallets by clicking the untrack/remove button
* Create multiple watchlist categories in the Tracking tab

## Use Cases

**Copy Trading:** Track wallets with good performance and follow their entries. Be aware of timing differences–they may have information you don't.

**Whale Watching:** Track large wallets to see market-moving trades before they impact price.

**Competition Research:** Track traders in your community to see what they're finding.

**Self-Review:** Track your own external wallets to see all activity in one place.
